An Ode to the Mountains

Every time that I was in the mountains, I have learned so much & felt utterly blessed. I’ve experienced the abundance and it’s overwhelming.

Winter Wonderland: Kedarkantha Peak

I purposely walked a slow walk, so I could be alone – at least for some time.

I wanted to live that moment quietly and absorb it fully.

Aware of every single breath I drew, I focused on my steps, walking at my own, unhurried pace.

Trekking in the Gangotri National Park

Walking in the mountains has always felt so therapeutic. The only thoughts that run in my mind are things like where to walk, where to step (need to watch my steps, as I’m prone to accidents), and other such things which compel me to be present, to be there in the moment. The Handsome Mount Shivling

After an almost incessant snowfall the previous night, we woke up to a beautiful clear day. And there it was, the stunning mount Shivling standing tall in its full glory! It was completely obscured the previous day when we had set up the camp even as it snowed continuously, it was hard to even imagine something this grand stood right there and we couldn’t see it!
