No matter how many times I visit the mountains, no matter how many times I see them, walk amongst them. I fall in love with them, all over again, every single time!

Here are some pictures from a quaint little village named Mana, which is about 8km from Badrinath in Uttarakhand. I love these pictures and every time I see them (even now) I’m transported to that day, that moment when I stood watching the clouds float over the Himalayan mountains at Mana, sweeping me off my feet as I fell in love with the mountains yet again.
Mana is the last village of India in the Himalayas before the Indo-China/Indo-Tibet border begins. I never thought of or pictured Badrinath (which is a famous place of Hindu pilgrimage) anything beyond temples and devotees, until I visited this place during my trek to the enchanting Valley of Flowers one monsoon.
